The power behind the AI: what’s new in DocAI
While the core system speeds up the daily routine, the DocAI module takes analysis and decision support to a new level.
This past month’s developments in the DocAI module all point in one direction: artificial intelligence is taking more and more analytical and administrative work off businesses’ shoulders — from partner due diligence to payslip processing. Here’s what’s new.
Partner 360: everything in one place
One of the most important new features is Partner 360, a comprehensive partner-overview screen. A single view shows the partner’s core data, its ownership and management, revenue and turnover, contacts, payment habits, bank accounts, and its business activities by industry classification.
All of this is complemented by an executive financial statement that the system generates from the partner’s e-filed accounts — so getting to know a new partner or supplier is a matter of minutes.
Deeper company-data lookup
Company-data lookup has also expanded: with automatic retrieval of e-filed accounts, web search, group VAT-number recognition, tax-number normalisation and EU VIES validation. And the partner record can be refreshed with a single click if the data has changed in the meantime.
Bank statements – matched automatically
A new module has arrived for handling bank statements. After you upload a statement, the system automatically reads the bank transactions and matches them to the corresponding invoices — even where several transactions belong to several invoices. Re-matching and categorising the items is just as simple.
Contracts, payslips, assignments
The contract register handles four categories: revenue, liability, employment and other. It supports contract amendments and employee assignment, and shows expiring contracts — along with a comparison of expected versus actual performance — through clear record tabs and a KPI panel.
There is also a new payslip register, which processes payslips automatically, complete with a breakdown of taxes and benefits. The assignment register and the executive overview dashboard, meanwhile, bring the business metrics together on a single screen.
These automatic data-extraction capabilities have now been extended to payslips, contracts and bank statements as well — once uploaded, the system recognises the key fields on its own.
A smarter chat assistant
The chat assistant has improved too: you can now ask about specific invoice line items, for example which was the most expensive item in a given period. On the first question the system automatically pulls in the relevant documents, and it has gained stronger protection against incorrect, made-up answers.
Other improvements
The system now fully handles documents outside the NAV system as well — that is, records that do not come from the tax authority’s system. And for anyone who prefers faster access, there’s good news: the Telegram integration has arrived.
